Your  name is Gamzee Makara, and your currently watching best bro sleeping in a hospital bed. You weren't there when the "accident" happened, but you figured it was that bitch's fault anyway. When you heard the dreaded news you stole your roommates car, and nearly broke the sound barrier trying to get here. You walked into his room, and saw him on the bed. The nurse told you he had just gotten out of surgery, and he would be asleep for another few hours. You enter the room quietly, and stand over him. You half wished you were there, there to make sure he was safe, and that he wouldn't get hurt. You always promised him that he would be okay, and you'd be there. Even though he had no idea about your feelings for him.

Afraid of waking him, you lightly brush his hair back, and drag the back of your hand across his cheek. She really fucked him up. You then move your hand to hold his, as you choke back sobs. You squeeze the appendage hard as silent tears wash away some of your clown make up. You were gonna stick by his side no matter what, no matter what happens you'll be there for him.

A few minutes later you still find yourself to be standing over him when a machine goes off. You heard it once before, when your father was sent to the hospital, you still remember it even though it was years later. You start to shake him screaming, yelling, cursing at him. Telling him everything was gonna be okay, as well as you loved him. The nurses , and doctor rushed into the room prying you off of him, before sending you into the hall. A few minutes passed by and you and your roommate moved to the chair outside in the hall. The curtain of Tavros's room was closed, you could only hope they made sure he was okay, Gamzee was never one to break promises. The doctor soon came out, and looked at the two of them. You didn't like the look on his face, you didn't like it. You stood up, and refused to sit down when he told you to. "I'm sorry...there was an unseen complication...and..." You blocked out whatever else the man said. You couldn't stomach the thought of losing the person you cared about so deeply. You knew from that moment you would never get to hear his laugh again, or that cute stutter he had when he spoke. You knew that she took the one thing you treasured in this world. As you stand there, you remember the last thing you told him. Tavros was leaving your apartment, he had come over because she was giving him trouble again. You promised him that everything would be alright. That she would never harm him.
